As an angler for over 50 years and a fishery officer with the Environment Agency and it’s predecessors for 35 years, I have marvelled at the mystery that is the Atlantic Salmon. Having worked to protect them, helped to conserve them and improve their habitats, I still find them a fascinating creature and hopefully will for many years to come.
